THE CONFERENCE.
The International Criminal Law before Domestic Courts conference was organised by the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights, in cooperation with the Institute of Constitutional and Administrative Law of the Law Faculty of the University of Vienna. The conference addressed diverse aspects of theory and practice regarding international criminal proceedings before domestic courts. The panels included a wide-range of topics such as the interlink between international criminal law and human rights, the principles of international criminal law, the role of culture, the prosecution of conflict-related sexual violence, and the use of open source evidence.
